My son was quite shy when he started at Mini Ps, but each week I’ve seen his confidence increase – he now really looks forward to his turn in the solo speaking exercise and loves telling everyone about his favourite things. Gabi Maddocks, Barnes
Giggle & Shout
Giggle and Shout is all about interaction. Interaction between you and your child and between your child and their peers.
Specially written learning songs and stories are formulated to build social and language skills and help develop an early understanding of phonics, vocabulary, word recognition and comprehension.
For children who haven’t started to talk, activities such as mimicking sounds and copying faces help them develop and strengthen their vocal chords and communication skills.
For the older age range, children are gently encouraged to speak clearly and confidently in front of the rest of the group. Sessions include a fun vocal warm up, tongue-twisters and rhymes and the development of rhythm skills using musical instruments.
